How it was made
My kitchen is small and bright by 7 a.m., so I filmed at 6 with one lamp and the window just turning grey. I recorded the sound separately with a clip-on mic placed at counter height.
I tried a decibel app first. It looked clinical and nobody cared, so I dropped it. A sleeping cat in the background did more than any number.
